Social content production for Domino's
About the project
When you think of pizza you think of Domino's. And thus, we were extra excited when we got the opportunity to create video assets for the pizza giant. The brand was looking for a more "approachable" approach to creating its social media content. We build the set to mimic a garden and BBQ setting for a summer feeling. There were certain elements about the current content of Domino's that needed to be incorporated into the new content. For example, the iconic cheese pull and the zoom-in shots to show the true deliciousness. We worked on the production for two days, where the first day we made sure to work on the priority content assets. On the second day, we were able to play around with different filming techniques, leaving us space to use our creative expertise whilst providing Domino's with the desired assets.
Working with food, and in this case pizza, there are certain elements that need extra care. In the case of Domino's, the dough needed to be cooled at a specific temperature and therefore needed a special refrigerator. And in order to make the food look appetizing, our food stylist Oliver Knight styled the food with different techniques all for the purpose of making it look delicious. After we were done, we cheered to a successful production with beer and pizza.
