E-commerce optimalisation photography production for Bijenkorf

The objective of our photography production for Bijenkorf was to create premium pack shots and lifestyle imagery for the three new towel collections: organic softness, waffle, and rise point. The imagery was used to optimise the existing imagery. The strategy behind high-quality e-commerce photography is to visualise the product in such a way the consumer can sense the experience of what it is like to actually see or feel the product. We recreated natural lighting that highlighted the different fabrics, textures, and colours, and combined packshots with lifestyle imagery to give off the right impression of luxury the Bijenkorf is known for.
In our studio, we build a bathroom set, with each a different style to reflect the towel collections. Bernadette van Wijlen styled the set and towels to create the right setting. And Stuart Minzey photographed the set-up using natural lighting. We used different props and set-ups to achieve the luxurious bathroom feel.
