Through Nomads agency, we have been commissioned to produce a full-service campaign for Hoya Vision, an eyewear specialist. Under the motto "the right tools for the right vision", we have been able to develop and produce various assets: a variety of atmospheric images, top view environmental portraits, and a campaign video.
Hoya Vision lenses provide a wider field of view, clarity, and comfort for near and medium range. To demonstrate this clearly, we photographed this medium range from above. In the Sieraad in Amsterdam, we created a pop-up architectural office and photographed and filmed it from above.
Specialist professions have specialist tools. Finding these tools to build this set was a fun challenge. The profession of a luthier was new to us, so finding real luthier tools was not an obvious task. We ended up borrowing the tools of a true luthier for this shoot. The architect's drawings were also not just made for this shoot, but they are real sketches of houses. The result was exactly what we were looking for!
This was the first time we were allowed to develop a set design of an architectural firm. We mounted the camera with a truss rig at a high distance for the top shot. The set therefore also had to be built large and wide, with enough furniture and decor to make it look like a real office.
